The Material Handler is responsible for both supporting and maintaining all aspects of warehouse operations, including, but not limited to, shipping, receiving and warehouse equipment maintenance. The Material Handler is also responsible for controlling the movement and proper storage of material to and from production by item and lot number and coordinating the movement of raw material deliveries and finished goods.

Shifts: 1st, Monday-Friday; (6 AM – 2:30 PM)

The Role

• Operate all equipment related to warehouse activities – this includes, but is not limited to, propane gas or electric powered stand-up or sit-down industrial forklifts to push, pull, lift, stack, or move products.

• Complete production material request and pick list forms in an accurate manner and within 90 minutes of receipt of request.

• Distribute and store material (finished good, work in process, raw material) and product within the company specified guidelines and perform required documentation on all Manufacturing Work Orders.

• Complete material transactions (via) JD Edward 9.1 to verify material quantity, expiration date, location, and current status.

• Return materials from production to the proper location before the shift end to allow for accuracy and availability for the next manufacturing campaign.

• Operate stretch wrap machine and secure pallet load to pallet and attach all necessary labels to materials.

• Loading/or unload all trailer loads utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety practices.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Candidate

• High school diploma required.

• 1 experience in shipping to receiving (Forklift) is preferred.

• Prior pharmaceutical or food manufacturing/processing experience preferred.

• The role requires proficiency in operating warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks, adherence to SOPs and cGMP for safety, and basic math, reasoning, and strong documentation skills.

• Candidate must work well in teams, follow warehouse SOPs, perform documentation accurately, communicate effectively, and comply with safety policies.

• Candidate must be able to manage and operate warehouse storage systems, safely handling shipments, lifting up to 50 lbs., and maneuvering heavier items with equipment.

• The position demands safe operation of equipment for moving bulk products, data entry for shipment records, and ensuring a secure environment around both mobile and stationary machinery.

• Vision requirements include at least 20/40 vision in each eye, no double vision, adequate stereopsis, and a minimum of 70 degrees of horizontal visual field in each eye for safe task execution.
