The Opportunity
We are hiring a part-time Document Management Clerk who will be responsible for handling all incoming and outgoing mail, and processing various company transactions.
This will be on-site at our Tallahassee office working Monday through Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm.
What You Will Do
- Open and sort mail by categories including incoming faxed and emailed correspondence
- Scan and index all correspondence (incoming and outgoing)
- Process outgoing mail to include operating the inserting/folding machine, operate the postage meter, collate daily system ordered letters
- Process change of address requests, add survivor requests, name changes etc.
- Process incoming correspondence from Lockbox and returned mail
- Process application corrections after application received
- Data entry of incoming checks received via mail
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
What You Will Need to Succeed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic PC skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ten-key by touch; must be able to type 35 wpm
- Sound judgment, self-motivated, team-player
