Position Description:
A Quality Assurance Representative is a member of the Quality Assurance Team and is responsible for ensuring that all products and services meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy. They are to act as the liaison between dental technicians and dental offices to ensure products are fabricated correctly and in a timely manner. Furthermore, they are to take ownership of cases that require additional information and attention.
They are a member of the Quality Assurance team. They are responsible for
- Case Questions
- Correspondence to and from the lab regarding outsourced cases
- Quality Control
- Customer communication regarding technical issues
General Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensuring that all products are evaluated thoroughly and are correct per the Rx specification. Furthermore, they are to ensure that the product itself meets production standards and specifications.
- Performs inspections of products manufactured by dental technicians.
- Serves as a liaison between dental technicians and dental offices.
- Performs quality control inspections according to quality standard procedures.
- Communicates with colleagues, dental technicians, and managers in a prompt articulate manner.
- Produces constructive feedback for dental offices regarding technique.
- Seeks advice and input from technicians and managers as needed.
- Promptly evaluate, investigate, and respond to all case questions.
- Ensures quality, timely, detailed, and professional communication between lab and customer at all times.
- Takes ownership in the success of the Quality Assurance team, striving for excellence and continuously identifying opportunities for improvement in all team functions and processes.
Qualifications
Must have exceptional attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Applicant must also be proficient in relevant computer applications, have knowledge of the dental prosthetic industry, and have outstanding organizational skills.
