Job Title : Industrial Channel Business Development Manager

Job Summary : We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Channel Business Development Manager, focused on our industrial segment, to join our team. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a strong background in industrial sales and channel management, who is eager to grow into a leadership position. As a change agent, you will drive strategic sales initiatives and foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Sales Strategy and Execution : Develop and implement national sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
- Channel Management :
Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, general contractors and large direct customers to maximize sales opportunities.
Develop and implement channel partner development programs to enhance partner capabilities and performance.Manage channel partner scorecards to track performance and identify areas for improvement.Onboard new channel representation in underperforming or under-penetrated markets to expand market reach and drive growth.Custom Engineered Products : Leverage experience in selling custom engineered products in a project-based business environment to drive sales and meet customer-specific requirements.Solution Selling : Focus on helping customers who have specific problems by providing tailored solutions through a consultative sales approach.Market Analysis : Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends and competition.Change Management : Lead change initiatives to improve processes, drive innovation, and enhance overall business performance.Customer Relationship Management : Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction by addressing client needs and resolving issues promptly.Performance Monitoring : Track and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, project management, and designers, to align strategies and achieve business objectives.Leadership Development : Mentor and coach junior members of the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture and preparing for future leadership roles.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field; MBA preferred.Proven experience in national sales and channel management roles.Strong leadership and team-building skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Demonstrated ability to drive change and innovation.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.Experience in selling custom engineered products in a project-based business.Expertise in solution selling and consultative sales techniques.Willingness to travel as needed – up to 50%.Benefits :
