Reports To : Production Manager
Job Summary : The Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and managing schedules for various departments within the organization. This role involves ensuring efficient use of resources, maintaining accurate scheduling records, and communicating with staff to resolve any scheduling conflicts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain schedules for employees, projects, or resources.
- Coordinate with department managers to understand scheduling needs and requirements.
- Ensure schedules are updated and communicated to relevant staff in a timely manner.
- Monitor and adjust schedules to accommodate changes in staffing, project timelines, or resource availability.
- Resolve scheduling conflicts and issues as they arise.
- Maintain accurate records of schedules, changes, and communications.
- Assist in the development and implementation of scheduling policies and procedures.
- Provide administrative support to the operations team as needed.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scheduling processes.
