Position Overview:
As a Lead at Catalyst Cannabis, you’ll play a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day operations, supporting the team, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. You’ll be the right hand to our management team, taking on additional responsibilities and helping to maintain a welcoming and professional environment for both staff and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support Team Operations: Oversee the floor to ensure smooth operations, providing support and guidance to budtenders, ensuring they meet high standards of customer service and compliance.
• Customer Service Excellence: Lead by example in delivering an outstanding customer experience, addressing escalated customer inquiries, and ensuring a friendly and knowledgeable atmosphere.
• Training & Mentorship: Assist in training new team members, fostering a supportive environment, and providing ongoing guidance to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
• Inventory Management: Help with inventory checks, ensuring that stock levels are accurate and products are well-organized for an efficient shopping experience.
• Sales & Metrics: Support management in achieving store sales goals, focusing on Average Daily Transaction (ADT) improvements, and encouraging upselling and product recommendations.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure the team is following all state and company guidelines related to cannabis handling, ID verification, and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in retail, customer service, or a similar cannabis role preferred
• Strong knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and industry trends
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
