Duties
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences regarding cannabis products.
- Provide product demonstrations and educate customers on various strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash register transactions accurately.
- Maintain accurate stock levels by monitoring inventory and restocking shelves as needed.
- Assist in retail sales by promoting featured products and special offers.
- Ensure compliance with all local laws and regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to enhance the shopping experience for customers.
- Address customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others.
- Experience in retail sales or similar environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and retail math.
- Ability to operate a cash register and POS system effectively.
- Knowledge of cannabis products is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be at least 21 years of age as per state regulations.
