What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Quality Manager - LATAM position at Catalyst Life Sciences?
We are working with a leading medical device company in orthopedics to find a quality manager to join their corporate quality team, overseeing their distribution sites across South America. This is an on-site position in Naples, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Leading and managing the Quality Assurance teams located at various subsidiaries and distribution facilities across Latin America.
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance policies and procedures that conform to international standards, including ISO 13485, 21 CFR 820, and MDSAP.
- Managing a team of 3 local quality managers.
- Overseeing the management of internal and external audits, including preparation, corrective action plans, and follow-up.
Experience Required
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in a Science or Engineering discipline.
- 7 years Quality Systems experience in medical devices, and significant knoeledge of the LATAM market.
- 3 years of people leadership experience required.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required, proficiency in Portuguese is preferred
