Join Our Team: Job Coach Positions Available for the Summer Youth Program!
Are you passionate about empowering youth and helping them achieve their career goals? This summer, we’re looking for dedicated Job Coaches to join our Summer Youth Program! We have both part-time and full-time positions available, offering flexibility based on your availability.
Our program serves local youth who face socio-economic barriers or lack work experience, providing them with the tools and support needed to succeed in the workforce. If you're motivated to make a difference and help young individuals navigate their career journey, we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Do:
- Support youth participants in worksite placement, coordinate schedules, manage timesheets and ensure timely submission of payroll documents
- Conduct pre-employment training sessions covering workplace etiquette, communication, time management, job safety, and conflict resolution
- Supervise participants across various worksites, ensuring adherence to program policies and workplace expectations
- Provide on-the-job coaching to ensure a smooth transition into the workforce
- Help youth create and refine resumes and cover letters
- Build relationships with local employers to connect youth to job opportunities
- Track and monitor progress to ensure job retention and success
- Offer individualized support tailored to each participant’s needs
Who You Are:
- Passionate about supporting youth, especially those facing barriers to employment
- Experienced in coaching, mentoring, or career counseling
- Comfortable working with young people who may have limited work experience or socio-economic challenges
- A strong communicator, able to provide constructive feedback and motivation
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
