This position assists with accounting functions and daily processing within a dynamic professional environment. It requires a self-motivated, detail oriented, quick, and accurate responsible team player with strong computer and organizational skills. The role of Financial Specialist includes assisting the accounting manager in the department's priorities on a largely project-based workflow, as well as seeking out ways to bring efficiency to the operations of finance (and others) through technology, process, and quality management.
Requirements:
3-5 years of accounting experience
1. Performs monthly reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, and other general ledger accounts
2. Assist with the monthly close process and financial reporting
3. Assist with accounts payable to ensure accuracy and timeliness, of vender invoice and payment process
4. Assist with the financial records as needed for the annual GAAP audit and filing of tax returns
5. Document and maintain procedures on all duties performed
6. Files monthly sales and use tax reports
7. Perform other ad hoc projects for accounts manager
