This Maintenance Tech position will oversee 2 small properties in Cleburne.
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance, with a focus on both electrical and mechanical systems. This role requires a proactive individual who can maintain and repair various systems, ensuring the safety and functionality of our residential properties. Strong customer service skills are essential as you will interact with residents to address their maintenance needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential properties, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Conduct inspections to identify issues and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
- Execute welding tasks as needed for structural repairs or modifications.
- Carry out residential painting projects to maintain aesthetic appeal.
- Lead small teams on specific projects or during peak maintenance periods, providing guidance and support.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and enhance overall facility operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
- Electrical skills are essential; familiarity with using an ohmmeter is a plus.
- Experience in welding is desirable but not mandatory.
- Proficient in residential painting techniques and practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
