Job Summary
(You will be required to work at least 1-2 Saturdays out of the month and off a day during the week)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that properties are well-maintained, tenants are satisfied, and that all leasing processes run smoothly. This role requires a strong understanding of property leasing, maintenance, and adherence to Fair Housing regulations.
Duties
- Manage the leasing process, including advertising vacancies, conducting property showings, and processing applications.
- Maintain accurate and organized files for all leases, contracts, and tenant communications.
- Oversee property maintenance tasks and coordinate with maintenance staff or contractors to ensure timely repairs.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other applicable laws.
- Utilize OneSite or similar property management software for tracking leases, payments, and tenant interactions.
- Foster positive relationships with tenants through effective customer relationship management practices.
- Handle tenant inquiries and concerns professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Conduct regular property inspections to assess condition and identify necessary improvements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail in managing files and contracts.
- Knowledge of property leasing processes and maintenance requirements.
- Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations is essential.
- Proficiency in using property management software such as OneSite is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple properties effectively.
