Job Purpose
The Stick Pack Lead is responsible for leading operators in the processing powder into filled stick form according to written instructions and compliance with cGMPs, SOPs and the work order.
Essential Duties
- Read work orders to determine production specifications or information for stick creation.
- Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment related to the Stick Pack process, including but not limited to; room and equipment cleanliness, machinery setup, product verification (before, during, and after product run).
- Verifies that proper documentation is completed accurately, timely, and properly filed.
- Accountable for the quality of the product that is produced.
- Continuously looking for opportunities to improve the current process.
- Follow all SOPs and cGMP requirements.
- Ensure that Stick Pack machines are well maintained, and proper practices are being followed by operators.
- Assist in any troubleshooting, set up, change overs of the Stick Pack equipment and accessories.
- Participate in all applicable safety and food safety training and wear proper personal protective equipment as needed.
- Report on daily KPIs to supervisor.
- Maintain a clean workspace by assisting in housekeeping duties to minimize food safety risks.
- Able to lift 50 pounds.
- Use material handling equipment such as electric pallet jacks.
- Must be able to work in a low humidity room.
- Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as necessary.Other duties may be assigned.

Education:
- High school diploma /GED or equivalent work experience is preferred.
Experience:
- Prioritization and time management skills
- Working quickly without compromising quality
- Mechanical skills and or Stick Pack machinery experience
- In a food facility or facility that follows cGMP practices is preferred but not required.
Key Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.
- Knowledge and following of cGMP guidelines.
- Ability to communicate thoroughly with peers and management.
- Good mechanical skills
