General Job Description
Assists with repair and maintenance work in all company facilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, including overhead and horizontally on a ladder; ascend and/or descend stairs; bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must regularly lift, move (in some cases drag items), slide, raise and/or place:
- Half kneel while assembling nuts and bolts and/or equipment.
- Reach overhead assembling nuts and bolts and/or equipment.
- Step on and off ladders and equipment at 24 inches.
- Reach horizontally on a ladder.
- Grasp 50 lbs. of force.
- Push and pull 42 lbs. of force at 36inches.
- Lift up to 60 lbs. from floor to waist.
- Lift up to 60 lbs. from 31 inches, carry for 5 feet and return to 31-inch surface
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintenance coordinator role
- Electrical certification / experience
- PLC programing
- Performs predictive and preventative maintenance activities as outlined in the preventative maintenance schedule.
- Maintains and repairs Production machinery
- Maintains and repairs in office areas
- Repairing damaged walls (mudding and taping), floors and ceilings; replacing damaged flooring and ceiling tiles; buffing and waxing floors; painting; unclogging sinks, drains and toilets; fixing plumbing leaks; brazing copper piping (air, water, gas); changing lightbulbs, ballasts, and lighting components; changing and washing filters in HVAC equipment; and cleaning and changing filters on dust collectors.
- Maintains and repairs the exterior of buildings (Catalyst manufacturing location and all ancillary warehouses) including but not limited to parking lot, sidewalks, traffic signs, roof, roof screen, office HVAC equipment, exterior windows, precast panels and other equipment installed on the exterior of the building.
- Helps maintain spare parts inventory for plant as directed by checking out parts form parts room, using parts ordering procedure, and restocking inventory.
- Complies with safety and GMP requirements.

Education:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Experience:
- One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and building trades required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.
REASONING ABILITY
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

- Ability to complete paperwork. Basic computer skills required. Excellent organizational, planning and attention to detail. Initiative to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision required. Good communication and interpersonal skills required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to herbal aromas, dust, and/or airborne particles. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to fumes, cold, and heat. Must have ability to work off shifts and weekends.
