Catalyst Operations & Analytics is seeking Desk Officers / Soos. Desk Officers apply advanced knowledge and expertise of operations, operational trade craft, and intelligence priorities when providing strategic guidance and operational case management. In addition, they are responsible for program management throughout the customer, from traditional operational activities to specialized initiatives. Desk officers will utilize customer-specific databases to conduct multiple layers of research and write summaries, reports, official correspondence, and guidance. This post represents multiple openings. Applicants will be evaluated and placed in a level from 1-5 based off their experience and customer feedback after assessment.
Required Skills :
- Active TS / SCI w / Polygraph required.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Proficiency in cable writing and classified databases, including specific targeting tools.
- Strong analytical, briefing, and writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and accurately.
- Expertise in a geographic region or transnational target, with a solid understanding of associated challenges and trends.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying concise information to diverse audiences.
- Self-motivated, able to multitask, and perform effectively under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Experience identifying targeting leads through the exploitation of all-source databases.
- Strong interpersonal, networking, and problem-solving abilities.
- For senior and expert roles : Ability to adapt to evolving analytical priorities, ensure work quality, and provide mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level team members. May supervise lower-level analysts.
