The Director of Strategic Accounts-Oncology will serve as the pivotal liaison for key strategic accounts. This role entails comprehensive national/regional oversight of oncology group purchasing organizations and select strategic accounts (non-payor). The incumbent will collaborate closely with market access, marketing, and sales teams, ensuring seamless communication and strategic alignment. This position is instrumental in providing critical competitive intelligence within the assigned marketplace. It contributes to the development of the overarching strategic plan for Catalyst Pharma. Additionally, it drives the national brand strategy through cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders. The role is a remote field-based position reporting to the Sr. Vice President of Sales.

Requirements
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Secure and manage contracts with key accounts, targeting an increase in the number and value of contracts
- Develop and implement strategies to significantly increase VGCC testing over the next 12 months through partnerships with leading oncology networks and healthcare providers to promote VGCC testing
- Initiate and lead targeted efforts to significantly enhance the adoption and usage of Firdapse within the oncology space
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and regulatory affairs, to align market access strategies with overall business goals
- Lead contract negotiations, with the final price influenced by a bid grid developed in collaboration with the National Account Director (NAD)
- Effectively collaborate with iKnowMed and FlatIron Assist to implement and optimize new care pathways that enhance patient outcomes
- Cultivates and sustains pivotal business relationships with Oncology GPOs and key strategic accounts
- Engage with executive leadership to identify business opportunities and strategic alliances
- Educate internal colleagues on customer dynamics, market trends, and competitive intelligence to drive alignment across all initiatives
- Identify, develop and execute business opportunities by focusing on appropriate positioning and messaging of Catalyst products
- Act as a trusted advisor to key decision-makers, ensuring Firdapse is appropriately positioned in Oncology Care Pathways and formularies
- Track and analyze product performance and communicate with internal stakeholders
- Any additional responsibilities as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA Preferred
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry with documented experience in oncology
- At least 3 years in market access segments such as reimbursement, health plans, distribution, or physician networks, or federal marketplace
- Regional/National Account Management experience preferred, particularly within the Community Oncology GPO segment
- Established existing relationships with customers within the GPO and distribution segment
- Extensive understanding of relevant products, therapeutic areas, competitive landscape, and key market dynamics
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently to execute strategic and tactical plans under tight timelines
- Skilled in supporting cross-functional teams toward a shared vision of success
- Requires over 50% travel and frequent weekend meetings throughout the year to engage with customers, attend key medical meetings and congresses, and collaborate with both field based and home office colleagues
- Valid driver's license is required
