Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Technician to join our team in providing exceptional patient care in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will assist physical therapists in delivering treatment plans, ensuring a supportive environment for patients recovering from injuries or surgeries. This role is crucial in enhancing the overall patient experience and facilitating effective rehabilitation.
Duties
- Assist physical therapists with patient treatments and exercises, ensuring proper techniques are followed.
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Educate patients on exercises and care routines as instructed by the therapist.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
- Uphold a positive atmosphere within the clinic, fostering strong relationships with patients.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinic setting is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is beneficial for effective communication and understanding of treatment plans.
- Planning on becoming a medical professional in the future (PT, PTA, MD, PA, nurse, etc)
- A caring attitude towards patients, demonstrating empathy and support throughout their rehabilitation journey.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
