Reliability Engineer (corporate / central group)
West Valley City, UT
A large company is looking for a reliability engineer to lead reliability and asset engineering and management efforts and projects at multiple sites for a chemical / materials company. .
Key :
Mechanical or chemical engineering degree
Combo maintenance and reliability
MUST have experience in reliability engineering in a chemical, minerals, utilities or refining operation
Info :
Part of small central maintenance and reliability / / asset management team for multiple sites
Approximately 25% travel regionally
Key part of asset management team
Mix of maintenance and reliability engineering and programs
Manage / improve life-cycle reliability and cost for different process areas in plants
Key part of capital program management team
Make / work with mechanical design engineering, P&ID, etc.
Management of mechanical reliability and integrity projects with : rotating equipment, compressors, fans, reactors, pressure vessels, etc
Criticality and risk analysis work
Manage projects - alone or as part of team for larger projects
Requirements :
4 year degree in mechanical or similar engineering
Minimally 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering / reliability in an appropriate plant setting. More experience is great.
Used to / willing to be in an chemical / oil / utilities industries
Legal to work in the U.S. legally, not needing a visa now or at a later date
Salary is approx $130,000 - $154,000 depending on experience. Relocation available
