Job Description
The Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Marketing Manager to support the execution of marketing initiatives with a strong emphasis on digital marketing, content creation, data/analytics, and proposal development. This role requires a blend of creative and analytical thinking, with hand-on involvement in social media, marketing campaigns, proposal responses, and marketing collateral materials. The Marketing Specialist will collaborate across departments to uphold the Catalyst brand and deliver compelling, engaging content across platforms - all in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Order preparation
- Design and develop marketing collateral aligned with Catalyst branding
- Develop and execute social media campaigns and content across platforms
- Use digital marketing tools and data analytics to support campaign performance tracking and optimization
- Maintain and update website content
- Support the development and implementation of corporate marketing campaigns
- Assist with internal and external event planning (tradeshows, showroom tours, presentations)
- Oversee creation and distribution of promotional materials and branded merc
- Ensure consistency in visual and brand standards across all content
- Assist sales, design, and other departments with marketing requests
- Develop and support email campaigns and other digital communication initiatives
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
Proposals
- Assist in the planning, design, and production of client proposals and presentations
- Review RFP/RFQ documents and coordinate with the Marketing Manager/Sales on response strategy
- Create and manage project timelines and coordinate cross-functional contributions
- Organize pricing, visuals, and supporting documentations with appropriate teams
- Format and brand final deliverables in alignment with Catalyst standards
Collaboration and Communication - Build strong and trusting relationships across teams, especially Sales and Design
- Communicate project updates clearly and proactively
- Represent Catalyst professionally in both internal and external interactions
- Perform other duties or special projects as assigned
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Marketing, Communication, Business or related field
- 2-5 years marketing experience, preferably in a B2B or design-related environment
Other Required Knowledge and Skills
- Strong skills in digital marketing, social media strategy, and content creation
- Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Well versed in MS Office, and familiarity with marketing CRMs or platforms (e.g., Netsuite, Hubspot)
- Basic knowledge of Premier Pro or video editing tools desirable, but not required
- Solid organizational and project management skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
- 2-5 years marketing experience, preferably in a B2B or design-related environment
