What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electronic Technician I position at Catalytic Combustion Corporation?
This position is responsible for overseeing system testing and incoming component inspections for our capital equipment systems and control panels. The ideal candidate will work closely with production, engineering, project management, and quality teams to identify defects, troubleshoot issues to meet our manufacturing standards.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct final inspection and functional testing of capital equipment before shipment.
- Verify electrical wiring, control panels, sensors, and system functionality according to engineering specifications.
- Use diagnostic tools and test equipment to validate electrical circuits and connections.
- Ensure PLC, HMI, and automation systems function as intended.
- Document test results, defects, and corrective actions before product release.
- Work with engineering, service teams, and project management to troubleshoot and resolve non-conformances.
- Perform visual, mechanical, and electrical inspections on incoming components and subassemblies.
- Layout and wire electrical panels from schematics and blueprints to UL specs
- Maintain inventory stock
- Issue and receive parts into inventory
Requirements:
Completion of 2 years of industrial electricity, electronics or related courses and 1-3 years previous experience desired
- Follow verbal and written instructions
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
- Read and interpret drawings and blueprints
- Problem solving and organizations skills
- Able to read measuring tools such as calipers and tape measures.
- Knowledge of UL/NEC codes desired.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time
