Position - Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Correctional Facility)
Location – Tehachapi CA (Onsite or willing to relocate)
Position is also available in different cities in California (Stockton, Represa, Delano, Crescent City, Tehachapi, Corcoran, Soledad)
Contract – 6 Months with an extension of up to 24 months or more
Schedule - AM (Part-time and Full-time)
Orientation: 1 week
Pay rate - $144 - $153 Hourly

Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Psychologist to provide mental health services within a correctional facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to improving the mental well-being of inmates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial mental health evaluations, including assessments of psychological, criminal, and substance abuse history.
- Perform suicide risk evaluations and provide crisis intervention as needed.
- Develop treatment plans, write clinical reports, and document care using standard protocols.
- Facilitate group psychotherapy sessions, face-to-face interviews, and mental health education.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams and supervisors on complex cases.
- Apply psychological assessments and ethical treatment modalities to enhance patient care.
- Assist inmates in accessing community programs and entitlement benefits.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 12 months of relevant professional experience within the last 3 years in a public or private institution (internships excluded).
- Active and valid Psychologist license in California.
- Proficiency in English for oral and written communication.
- Must have prior Behavioral Health experience
- Active BLS
- Provider must have liability insurance or malpractice insurance to avail the benefits.

Pay: $144.00 - $153.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
