Building Maintenance

Duties:

• Help in all tasks pertaining to the Day to Night Operations of the Ski Area including but not limited to:
  • Garbage removal; Housekeeping of lodges, shops and offices
  • Firewood stocking, stoking, and splitting
  • Snow Removal via equipment or by hand
  • Salting and Sanding of walkways and parking lot
  • Furniture rearrangement
• Inspecting and identifying equipment or machines in need of repair
• Troubleshooting issues to determine necessary repairs
• Overall improvement of aesthetics of the ski area
• Coordination and Implementation of events
• May be asked to fill in other departments for positions needed included but not limited to:
  • Lift Operations
  • Tubing Attendants
  • Food and Beverage
  • Events

Other duties that building maintenance workers may perform include:

• Performing general repairs that do not require a specialized technician, such as repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures
• Performing routine maintenance on building systems
• Cleaning and assisting with upkeep of the facilities
• Ordering supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance

Some qualifications and skills that building maintenance workers may need include:

• Manual labor
• Standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting
• Communicating effectively
• Collaborating with others
• Building maintenance, construction, plumbing, or electrician experience
• Driver's license and clean driving record
