We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our compliance efforts by reviewing supplier documentation, maintaining records, and assisting with various administrative tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Reviewing supplier documentation in Trace Gains portal (Maintain Supplier Registers with document expiration dates and make sure that all supplier docs are up to date)
- Fulfill customer Requests for Documentation (emails/customer portals)
- E-filing records
- Maintain Controlled Documents - SOPS, SSOP's, Forms, etc - Create/Revise through Change Order Process
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year experience
- Familiar working in a software portal environment (data entry)
- Document review
- Administrative support
- Food manufacturing/pharmaceutical/legal/academia/regulatory industry experience is a plus.
Requirements
Skills/Competencies
- Detail oriented with excellent follow-up skills
- Strong analytical and computer skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such a knowledge of manufacturing, food processing, pharmaceutical, HACCP, GMP’s, SSOP’s and FSMA’s. Regulatory Landscape is a plus.
- Must be able to juggle multiple competing projects
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to prioritize and completes food safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to follow instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
