Catapult Employers Association is collaborating with Old Saratoga to find a seasoned Quality Assurance Practitioner. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team at our client's facility, which is a leading bottled water supplier in North Carolina.
The ideal candidate will possess relevant food production experience, knowledge of basic microbiology and quality assurance principles, as well as HACCP, GMPs, SQF, USDA, and military audit requirements.
We are seeking a disciplined self-starter who appreciates a tight-knit operation and is committed to implementing and maintaining Food Safety and Quality plans under the scope of the certification.
In this role, you will be responsible for owning quality control, audit compliance for SQF certifying bodies, and customer inspection/audits. You will also handle compliance in accordance with all regulatory agencies at local, state, and federal levels.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining all SQF manuals and documents
- Conducting recurrent meetings on SQF and quality-related issues
- Overseeing company training and safety programs
- Assisting the Plant Manager with monitoring and maintaining production permits
