**Must be able to commute to Arlington, VA daily! (DMV residents)**
Hours: 8 hours/day, Core Business Hours (On-site at HQ, 4 days/week)
Description:
- The Windows/Systems Engineer will play a critical role in supporting the IT infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:
- Reimaging New Laptops: Use Deployment Server and Intune imaging tools to reimage new laptops.
- Laptop Swap: Work with end users to swap old laptops for new ones, handling shipping and receiving logistics.
- User Setup: Assist users with first-time login and account setup on the new laptop.
- End User Support: Troubleshoot end-user issues for staff working onsite at HQ.
- Subject Matter Expert: Serve as a subject matter expert for KACE and Intune in the context of End User Computing (EUC).
- Onboarding, Relocation, and Offboarding: Manage EUC-related activities and continuously improve the onboarding process.
- PC Image Development: Develop and update PC images and laptop models tailored for client needs to optimize onboarding, offboarding, and support.
- Patching Operations: Perform patching operations using automated tools provided by the infrastructure team.
- Data Center Support: Assist with after-hours emergency support and planned maintenance for regional data centers.
- Equipment Preparation: Prepare and ship equipment as required for conferences.

Skills Required:
- Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Active Directory and Exchange.
- Intune Imaging Tools expertise is a MUST.
- Experience with Laptop/ Desktop Builds using Symantec Ghost.
- Strong foundation in TCP/IP.
- Knowledge of network troubleshooting, including Ethernet and IP configuration.
- Familiarity with basic computer security principles (anti-virus, anti-spam, personal firewall).
- Experience with software distribution and patch management.
- Knowledge of Wireless LAN, VPN access, SMS, and MOM.
- A Certification preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
