ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a Material Planner/Coordinator to join our rapid growing team. The ideal candidate will be detailed oriented, have excellent communication skills and be able to multi-task and prioritize. This person will be responsible for accurately updating and maintaining sales orders in the system and maintain detailed records of sales, delivery schedules, and some customer communication. The successful candidate will have previous customer service and data entry skills who is not afraid to jump in front of the task at hand, and works well under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately update and maintain sales orders in the system.
- Ensure all sales order details, including product specifications and quantities, are current and error-free.
- Handle large volumes of data transactions with a high level of accuracy.
- Input and update customer information, order details, and delivery schedules efficiently.
- Develop and manage a dynamic schedule for customer deliveries and optimize delivery routes and schedules for efficiency.
- Provide real-time updates on order status, delivery times, and any changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Utilize communication channels to keep teams informed of the latest information.
- Collaborate closely with the logistics team to coordinate and schedule delivery vehicles.
- Ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods to meet customer expectations.
- Limited communication with customers regarding order delivery schedules, and any changes.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Integrate quality control checkpoints into the delivery schedule to ensure products meet specifications before dispatch.
- Coordinate with quality control teams for seamless order fulfillment.
- Maintain detailed records of sales orders, delivery schedules, and customer communications.
- Ensure compliance with record-keeping policies and industry standards.
- Analyze transactional data to identify trends, track performance metrics, and generate reports.
- Use data insights to optimize scheduling processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to sales orders and deliveries.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to address challenges in real-time.
- Adhere to strict deadlines for order processing, scheduling, and data transactions.
- Mitigate delays and proactively address any potential bottlenecks.
- Identify areas for process improvement in data transactions and scheduling.
- Propose and implement changes to enhance accuracy and streamline operations.
- Effectively manage multiple data transactions and scheduling tasks simultaneously.
- Prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.
