Paraprofessional
Part-time | Paterson, NJ
The paraprofessional will be responsible for working with one or more students to deliver instruction and support. This role will provide teaching support in a Paterson non-public elementary school. Every child deserves to reach their full potential and we are looking to hire an exceptional paraprofessional who will play an essential role in fueling student success.
This is a part-time position 20-30 hours/week, during the school day.
How you’ll do it:
- Facilitate the implementation of academic instructional programs, class work, and assessments for students.
- Maintain program instructional materials and computer lab components.
- Conduct attendance and program tracking and reports.
- Monitor students’ computer use and behavior to keep them on task.
- Foster a positive classroom environment as you maintain the confidentiality of students and families.

What we’ll need from you:
The positive, enthusiastic assistant teacher we seek has these qualifications.
- High school diploma; 2 years or 60 hours of college experience preferred.
- Unwavering belief that all children can learn.
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively with individuals.
- Knowledge of computer software and Microsoft Office experience.
