What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reading Interventionist position at Catapult Learning?
Catapult Learning is searching for a licensed and experienced K-5 Title I Reading Interventionist for part-time work. We have an opening at two private schools in Fredericksburg. Intervention is in a small-group, pull-out, format. Prefer teacher with teaching experience in math and reading

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement the program based on federal Title I guidelines, company policies and procedures, and contract requirements
- Diagnose academic needs and deliver small group reading/ math instruction
- Develop targeted data based lesson plans using intervention curriculum
- Develop and maintain student forms and electronic files
- Ensure supervision of students at all times
- Create a positive classroom environment that engages students in learning
- Maintain regular communication with school administrators and classroom teachers
- Provide periodic communication with parents/ guardians regarding student academic growth
- Other duties may be assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Active Virginia Teaching License with elementary school endorsement
Teaching experience preferred
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT:
Light lifting, walking, climbing stairs
Non-public school setting (K-8)
