Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our team at Catapult Learning. As a Reading/ELA and Math instructor, you will work with small groups of students in multiple grade levels in a face-to-face school setting, focusing on intervention and academic achievement.
Key Responsibilities
- Instruct reading and math skills to eligible students through the utilization of company-designed materials and educational strategies
- Ensure supervision of students at all times, including escorting them safely to and from classrooms/learning stations
- Perform data entry in a timely fashion to meet deadlines (student attendance, online pre/post testing, progress reports, parent and classroom teacher communication forms, compliance documentation)
- Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by company, local, state, and federal agencies
- Use data to scaffold and differentiate instruction
- Engage students by establishing a clear purpose for learning, encouraging critical thinking, welcoming intellectual risk-taking, and fostering a growth mindset
- Master new content in training sessions and demonstrate competency in content-area assessments
- Document Student Learning Exposure and Outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Valid and current FL Teaching Certificate/Statement of Eligibility
- Classroom teaching, internship, and/or tutoring experience
- Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication
