Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the development and enhancement of a complex Java/Oracle web application. The selected candidate will work closely with stakeholders, development teams, and cross-functional teams to define requirements, create user stories, and ensure the successful on-time delivery of projects. This role requires strong Agile methodology expertise and the ability to prioritize tasks to maximize value delivery.
The Business Analyst will gather and analyze business requirements, collaborate with application users, and coordinate testing efforts. This individual will also work with technical teams to facilitate demos, user acceptance testing (UAT), and code releases while maintaining effective communication with key stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Gather, document, and analyze business requirements for system modifications.

Develop business requirement documents, user stories, and process workflows.

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify pain points and areas for process improvement.

Work within Agile development teams to prioritize and refine product backlogs.

Perform system reporting and analysis using SQL and Oracle-based tools.

Conduct system testing, including unit, integration, and UAT.

Coordinate with technical teams to plan and execute code releases.

Communicate updates and project progress to business users and leadership.

Provide support for production issues and enhancements as needed.
Required Experience/Skills:

8 years of Business Analyst experience.

8 years of SQL experience.

8 years of experience with system reporting (Oracle, SQL).

8 years of experience in systems testing (unit, integration, UAT).

8 years of experience with Agile software development methodologies.

8 years of experience delivering complex Java/Oracle applications.
Nice-to-Haves:

5 years of excellent verbal and written communication skills.

2 years of project and/or product management experience.

2 years of experience in task prioritization to maximize business value.

2 years of experience using Jira for Agile project tracking.
