Key Responsibilities :
Join our team as a Data Center Equipment Technician, where you will play a critical role in assisting with the installation and configuration of key data center equipment. You'll be essential in troubleshooting common issues, streamlining operations through ticket resolution, and serving as a Level 1 administrator for any data center-related challenges.
Requirements :
- Extensive data center experience with a focus on rack and stack procedures.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in large-scale on-premises data centers, supporting infrastructure components such as Power, Space, and Cooling.
- Proficient cabling skills with a keen eye for effective cable management and dressing.
- Strong network troubleshooting experience, especially with Supermicro Servers, Infiniband Fabric, and Arista Hardware.
- Detail-oriented, self-sufficient, and capable of out-of-the-box thinking.
- Solid understanding of UNIX systems (Ubuntu or RedHat) with proficiency in basic commands for monitoring server performance and identifying disk failures.
- Expertise in break-fix server operations.
