Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Front End Developer to join our dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating sophisticated web applications, translating complex design requirements into scalable, efficient technical solutions, and contributing to our platform's overall architectural excellence.
This role demands a technical leader who can dive deep into code, mentor junior engineers, and drive innovative front-end development. You'll be instrumental in developing high-quality web applications, conducting code reviews, and implementing best practices across our development ecosystem.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Debug websites to ensure error-free performance for network administrators and end users
- Program in multiple languages to create specified products
- Create front-end solutions with deep understanding of customer needs
- Translate insights into mockups, wireframes, and working proof-of-concept code
- Deliver high-quality web application code
- Contribute to project design and architecture
- Conduct code reviews and write unit and integration tests
- Mentor junior engineers and apply technical expertise to challenging programming problems
Required Experience/Skills
- 5 years professional experience developing web/software applications
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS
- Strong understanding of React hooks and state management
- Proficiency in software design/architecture and SDLC
- Experience with web services (REST/SOAP)
- Excellent communication skills
- Unit testing and Test Driven Development (TDD) experience
- Experience developing large-scale, consumer-facing web applications
- Solid understanding of frontend platform architecture
Nice-to-Haves
- GraphQL experience
- Interest in financial technology
- Experience in agile development environments
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred
