Job Description
We are looking for an Offsite Manufacturing (OSM) Manager to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for integrating design, supply chain, and logistics to optimize construction scope by transitioning it to offsite fabrication facilities. You will play a pivotal role in advancing construction efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness while driving collaboration with key stakeholders.
As an OSM Manager, you will work closely with supply chain management, design teams, and logistics to develop and implement innovative solutions that align with client needs and best-known methods in this evolving field.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and drive program teams to adopt OSM methodologies, including Prefabrication, Preassembly, Modularization, and Offsite Fabrication (PPMOF) approaches.
- Partner with stakeholders, including program managers, design teams, supply chain teams, and construction teams, to :
- Develop and qualify OSM suppliers for offsite fabrication of key scope items.
- Collaborate with design teams to identify components suitable for offsite manufacturing.
- Build strategic supplier partnerships to ensure continuous improvement in quality, schedule, and cost.
- Assess and implement logistical solutions for transporting OSM skids and components, maximizing ROI while minimizing risks.
- Ensure quality control and commissioning programs are embedded in all OSM phases, from design to project turnover.
- Manage a wide spectrum of construction projects by driving OSM integration across multiple Fab modules and sites.
- Leverage virtual factory networks to identify best practices and implement new OSM modules for client programs.
- Create standardized engineering solutions for scalable and replicable offsite modules.
