Position Summary :

We are seeking a driven and experienced Sales Manager to lead a new market expansion. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader to build and manage a sales team from the ground up in the home improvement industry, focusing on windows and doors. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance of your team, ensuring sales targets are met, and driving growth in this new market.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Sales Team Leadership : Build and manage a new sales team, providing ongoing training and support to ensure individual and team success.
  • Sales Performance : Monitor and manage the performance of sales representatives to meet specific sales goals, including achieving a minimum slugging percentage of $3200 per lead.
  • Recruitment & Hiring : Oversee the hiring process, including reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and ensuring the right talent is brought onto the team. Final decisions on hiring and terminations are made by the President or CEO.
  • Sales Reporting & Analysis : Review sales performance reports (e.g., NGB, closing percentage, demo percentage), analyze trends, and provide feedback to reps to help them improve.
  • Training & Development : Provide ongoing training to the sales team, including shadowing and retraining underperforming reps to ensure sales targets are met. Work with reps individually to identify areas of improvement.
  • Lead Rehash & Cancellations : Rehash leads that were not closed by other reps and manage cancellations by following the company’s cancellation procedures.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with the President, General Manager, and other sales leaders to ensure the team is productive, supported, and aligned with the company’s goals.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in sales management within the home improvement industry (windows, doors, remodeling, etc.) or a similar field.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with a track record of driving sales performance.
  • Ability to mentor and manage sales reps, ensuring they meet established goals and continuously improve.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and leading a team to success.
  • Experience with performance analysis and sales reporting.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive for success and growth.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet sales targets and support the team.
