Job Description
The Senior Accountant will manage the full cycle close in support of field operations. This role involves preparing, analyzing, and reviewing financial statements while ensuring compliance with accounting principles. The Senior Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and provide exceptional customer service to field operations.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Perform month-end close processes for multiple lines of business, including journal entries, accruals, and P&L analysis
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Prepare planned and ad-hoc financial reports
- Review financial data for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to accounting standards
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance processes and address business needs
- Provide excellent customer service to field operations teammates
- Review and support staff journal entries as needed
- Identify and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Experience/Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- Eligibility to sit for CPA exam or partial CPA completion preferred
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced/expert skills in Microsoft Excel
- Proven ability to improve processes systematically
- Ability to receive and respond to performance feedback effectively
- Experience with Workday GL or other large ERP systems is a plus
- Adaptability to changing operational needs in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills with attention to detail
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with excel process optimization
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
Pay & Benefits Summary
$80,000 - $90,000 annual salary benefits (including unlimited PTO)
