Senior Manager Supply Chain
Department : Supply Chain
Location : Tampa, FL (Hybrid, also willing to consider remote work in EST and CST states)
Salary : $125-155K plus bonus

Job Summary
The Sr. Manager of Supply Chain will be responsible for managing and overseeing the full lifecycle of subcontracts and purchasing in support of defense and commercial programs. This includes solicitation, negotiation, award, administration, and closeout of subcontracts, as well as the development of procurement strategies to align with corporate objectives and ensure successful program performance. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with government regulations, applicable law and corporate policies while maintaining effective relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership :
- Lead team of subcontracts and purchasing personnel to ensure high performance
- Ensure personnel meet company objectives, and coach and mentor in support of career satisfaction and progression
- Lead with humility and compassion and set expectations for compliance and performance
Solicitation and Source Selection :
Issue Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotations (RFQs) to potential subcontractorsEvaluate responses, proposals and quotations, conduct source selection, negotiate terms and conditions, perform cost / price analysisSubcontract and Purchase Order Award and Administration :
Draft, review, and negotiate subcontract agreements and purchase orders, ensuring compliance with FAR / DFAR and other regulatory requirementsAdminister subcontracts and purchase orders, including modifications, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and performanceEnsure change management principles are upheldCompliance and Risk Management :
Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policiesIdentify and mitigate risks associated with subcontracts, including financial, schedule, and performance risksSupplier Relationship Management :
Establish and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers, acting as the primary point of contactResolve issues and disputes, facilitating effective communication and collaboration between subcontractors / suppliers and internal teamsDocumentation and Reporting :
Maintain accurate and complete subcontract files and recordsPrepare and present reports on subcontract status, performance, and compliance to managementContinuous Improvement :
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance subcontracting practices and efficiencyStay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changesCross-Functional Collaboration :
Work closely with engineering, program management, planning, contracts, and other departmentsRequired Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Experience :
Minimum of 10 years' experience in subcontract administration, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the defense or aerospace industry3 years people management / leadership experienceProven experience with FAR / DFAR and government contractingPreferable experience on modernization or facilitation programs in support of the DODSkills :
Strong negotiation and analytical skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP software systemsAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressureActs with integrity, works collaboratively, and supports continual improvementPreferred Qualifications :
Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CPCM) is a plusFAR Part 36 experience - Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts, or defense related facility modernization
Salary : $125,000 - $155,000
