*Overview*
We are seeking a dynamic Retail Sales Associate to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and sales in a retail environment.
*Duties*
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions
- Stocking and organizing merchandise on the sales floor
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide assistance
- Ability to close and open store and run nightly sales reports.
- Sell products by providing in-depth product knowledge, while ensuring customers are of legal age to purchase alcohol and use discernment in "no sell" situations.
- Assist with fisical inventory counts.
- Maintain phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries
- Handle cash transactions accurately while following cash handling procedures
- Utilize basic math skills for transactions and inventory management
*Qualifications*
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred (at least 2 years in a store retal environment).
- Ability to lift up to 40# and stand for long periods of time.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of retail sales principles and practices
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
