EVS ATTENDANT

Two Kings Casino is searching for an energetic, attentive Environmental Services (EVS) Attendants to join our Cleaning Team!  As an EVS Attendant, you will help create a great guest experience by keeping the property clean, sanitized, and providing excellent service and care in every interaction. You should be a multitasker with a passion for customer satisfaction.

Job Summary
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all public areas of the property.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Greets guests with a smile on gaming floor in a friendly courteous manner.
• Responsible for cleaning all Slot machines, restrooms, floors, windows, walls, stairs, as well as vacuuming all floors according to department procedures.
• Responsible for cleaning public areas, TM EDR, hallways casino floor and any other requested areas according to department procedures.
• Circulate throughout assigned workstation on continues basis, greeting guest with a smile in a friendly manner while cleaning.
• Empties wastebaskets and transports trash and waste to disposal area.
• Replenishes supplies in restrooms per housekeeping procedures.
• Conducts walk-arounds of assigned areas to assure that the facility meets housekeeping standards.
• Interacts on occasion with guests while cleaning guests and meeting rooms. Assists guest as needed.
• Reports maintenance repair problems to Supervisor.
• Ensures all lost and found items are turned in and logged on a daily basis.
• Ensures sanitation guidelines are maintained.
• Ensures all linen rooms and work areas are neat, clean, and organized. • Must be able to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Additional Duties/Job Dimensions
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.

Qualifications

Job Specifications:
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain a Gaming License.
• Preferred limited to no experience required; previous commercial cleaning and/or guest service experience preferred.
• Must have excellent customer service skills, guest service oriented.
• Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools, and fixtures.
• Ability to work quickly under pressure.
• Ability to make simple addition and subtraction calculations.

Physical Requirements
• Frequent walking and standing for entire length of shift.
• Frequent climbing of stairs.
• Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying.
• Use of hands to operate cleaning equipment and complete scrubbing/washing duties.
• Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Visual acuity sufficient to inspect cleanliness of rooms and surfaces.
• Working conditions include being regularly exposed to fumes and toxic or caustic chemicals, occasionally works in outside weather conditions, occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, and noise level may be moderate to loud.

Education and/or Experience
High school or equivalent (Preferred), experience in a similar position preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience. Strong interactive skills and the ability to work independently required.

Strong verbal communications. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment. Must be detailed oriented and motivated. Must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Must have the ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Must have the ability to deal with problems in a calm and professional manner.
