Job Summary:
Catawba Two Kings Casino is seeking a Facilities Clerk that will be responsible for assisting with maintaining the building maintenance operations and critical systems support to sustain a best and safest environment at Two Kings Casino. The Facilities Clerk will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming shipments. The Facilities Clerk will ensure that all deliveries match purchase orders, and invoices, report any discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory records. As part of the Facilities team, you will work under the direction of the Facilities Manager and Facilities Supervisor performing routine maintenance duties throughout the property.
Responsibilities:
· Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, ensuring they match purchase orders and invoices.
· Record received items into the inventory system and verify paperwork, including bills of lading and packing slips.
· Organize and store incoming inventory properly, ensuring all items are accounted for and labeled correctly.
· Identify and report damaged, defective, or incorrect shipments to the appropriate department.
· Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues with shipments.
· Inform appropriate departments when process is completed.
· Prepare promotional items for casino giveaways.
· Maintain USPS mailings and receivables.
· Identify and deliver received packages to respective departments on a daily cadence.
· Follow company policies and safety procedures, ensuring a clean and hazard-free receiving area.
· Use forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment to move shipments as needed.
· Painting, hanging drywall, and repairing drywall and general maintenance as needed.
· Changing light bulbs, replacing fixtures, and performing similar minor electrical tasks.
· Plumbing work includes opening clogged drains, repairing leaks, and performing other simple plumbing jobs.
· Simple carpentry tasks, such as installing shelves, hooks or closet rods.
· Lawn maintenance includes mowing, removing weeds and brush, etc.
· Empty outside trash cans, keep entryways and parking lot clean free from trash and debris.
· Assist with ensuring tools and equipment are in working order and keeping maintenance room in neat condition.
· Ensures all tools, supplies, and equipment are safe and available to team for all work functions.
· Assist with monitoring, responds to and reports any critical systems operation alarms and/or alters (i.e., fire, power, central facility failures, etc.).
· Troubleshoot fixtures and equipment malfunction.
· Maintain detailed records of received shipments and prepare reports on inventory levels and discrepancies.
· Preform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED, required.
· Minimum (1) one year of experience in facilities maintenance, warehouse and/or similar position, required.
· Certified in the proper use of forklifts and pallet jacks, or the ability to become certified.
· OSHA Certification a plus.
· Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Catawba Gaming License.
· Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
· Must have the ability to multi-task and work under pressure with quick problem-solving skills.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
· Basic knowledge of inventory software and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
· Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as needed, up to 50 pounds.
· Ability to stand and/or walk 100% of the time.
· Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting, pushing and pulling.
· Visual acuity and hearing.
· Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, under short-time constraints, and with established deadlines.
· Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
· Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing using the English language.
· Ability to work an alternate schedule as needed.
· Exposure to varying temperatures depending on the storage environment.
· Ability to work in a loud fast-paced environment (may occasionally be exposed to second-hand cigarette smoke).
