Position: Human Resources Manager
Job Family: Human Resource Department
Salary Range: $68,700.00 - $113,000.00 per year FLSA Status: Full-Time Exempt
Job Summary:
Two Kings Casino is searching for an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our HR team. Our ideal candidate has a thorough understanding of HR policy and procedures and is an effective communicator and influencer of associates at all levels of an organization. The HR Manager will be responsible for developing HR strategies, implementing policies, and ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations. This role will manage recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and benefits administration.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development and implementation of effective recruitment strategies.
- Oversee the hiring process, from job posting to onboarding.
- Foster a positive workplace culture.
- Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts.
- Oversee employee engagement programs and events.
- Manage performance appraisal systems and feedback processes.
- Work with supervisors and/or managers to develop employee performance improvement plans.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external policies and procedures.
- Update and administer HR policies and procedures.
- Handle workplace investigations and disciplinary actions.
- Oversee employee training programs.
- Oversee benefits and compensation structures.
- Maintain HR records and generate reports.
- Track key HR metrics, such as turnover rates and employee satisfaction.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or closely related field.
- Five to seven years of Human Resource management experience with at least three to five years HR Generalist experience.
- PHR or SPHR certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in the casino industry is a plus.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Gaming License.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of HRIS systems.
- Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail, is a must.
- Ability to handle multiple roles simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms; bend to open/use lower drawers or cabinetry; to talk, hear, and see. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
Certification Requirements:
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
