POSITION : FINANCE - REVENUE AUDITOR
FLSA Status: Part-Time, Non-Exempt
Description
Two Kings Casino is hiring a Revenue Auditor to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for providing superior service to both the internal and external customer. The position is also responsible for the daily audit of cage, slots, table games, electronic games, soft count and non-gaming revenue areas.
Responsibilities:
- Performing audits of daily revenue activity in various gaming areas, including table games, slots, electronic games, cage, and non-gaming revenue areas.
- Provides superior customer service, positively effects interactions with external and internal customers and employees and has the resiliency to deal with difficult customers in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with coworkers.
- Investigates and reports discrepancies determined through audit process to controller.
- Accurately verifying and recording revenue from different gaming areas, ensuring that all revenue streams are properly accounted for.
- Compliance with Internal Controls: Reviewing source documents and procedures for compliance with minimum internal control standards and company policies.
- Gathering and reconciling revenue and other financial and statistical information.
- Tracking and reporting on daily revenue activity and preparing daily operating reports for review.
- Performing complex auditing and clerical work related to revenue accounting.
- Training and ensuring compliance with minimum internal control standards and company policies
- Documenting the results of audits and any instances of non-compliance
- Performing all duties in accordance with customer service standards.
- Develop and implement best practices in all areas of financial reporting.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required equivalent work experience in a clerical position.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including but not limited to formulas, tabs, VLOOKUP, spreadsheet creation and formatting, and data import/export.
- Ability to maintain organization and possess integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Ability to solve practical problems and meet deadlines in a fast paced, high volume work environment.
- Must have intermediate level skills with Microsoft Excel/Word/Access, etc.
- Must be detail oriented, ability to manage time, as well as ability to multi-task.
- Must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be a self-starter with strong analytical skill and can work independently.
- Must be a team player and ability to collaborate with others.
- Must adhere to all Catawba Gaming Commission regulations and guidelines.
- Must adheres to performance standards, company policies and procedures, as they relate to the department.
- Must have the ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Must be able to obtain a Gaming License.
Physical Requirements
• Able to lift and carry a minimum of 40 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand, sit, and kneel for brief periods of time.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment.
• May be required to work evening, weekends, and holiday shifts.
