Job Description
Summary: U/S Technologist at Catawba Valley Imaging Center - 1030a/7p. Performs a variety of Ultrasound procedures under the clinical direction of a Radiologist. Experience in Diagnostic Breast U/S encouraged.
Performs a variety of imaging procedures under the clinical direction of a Radiologist.
Required Education
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic technology program or Computed Tomography/Magnetic Resonance technology program or Nuclear Medicine technology program or Sonography technology program. Current ARRT, or ARDMS, or CMNT registration. BCLS certification. If the BCLS certification is not from the American Heart Association (AHA), an AHA certification is required within one month of employment date.
Required Work Experience
No previous experience required. Given training and on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in all aspects of the position within three months of employment date. Radiologic technologist competent and performing 2 modalities X-ray or Mammography or Lithotripsy or CT.
Nuclear Medicine technologist with 1 registry.
CVL or US technologist with 1 or 2 registries.
CT or MR technologist only competent and performing 1 modality
