What are the responsibilities and job description for the Apprentice / Radiologic Imaging / PRN position at Catawba Valley Medical Center?
Summary:
Performs a variety of imaging modalities under the clinical direction of a Radiologist, Cardiologist or Surgeon.
Required Education:
Currently enrolled Student of an accredited Radiologic Technology, Sonography, program that has completed a minimum of two complete semesters within the program and remains BCLS certification. If the BCLS certification is not from the American Heart Association (AHA), an AHA certification is required within one month of employment date. The hospital may terminate the employee upon their graduation or unenrollment from their accredited Radiology Technology program.
Required Work Experience:
No previous experience required. Given training and on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of radiology within three months of employment date.
