What are the responsibilities and job description for the Provider Compensation Analyst / Catawba Valley Medical Group / Full Time position at Catawba Valley Medical Center?
Summary of Performance Expectations.
Helps with data analysis for quality programs. Manages, presents and accurately computes all variables associated with physician and mid-level compensation such as time off, CME requests, Excel productivity spreadsheets, bonus calculations, disbursement requests and provider questions. Distributes compensation information and is responsible for its accuracy. Works with Human Resources to identify accurate and timely payment. Performs a variety of office duties to include: management and organization of confidential materials and records, provide support services to CVMG practices as assigned; collecting and reporting data, information and analyses, as directed by the President; coordinating internal and external functions and reporting requirements of the Catawba Valley Medical Group. Supports the CVMG Practices with daily operational functions in coordination with the President and Operations Managers as needed.
Education and Credentials:
Required
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Strong to advanced Microsoft Excel and analytical skills needed to compile and analyze data.

Required
Five years of administrative office duties experience with focus on accounting procedures, customer service, utilization of MS Office applications and confidential records management. Ability to exercise independent problem solving and goal setting skills. Given training and on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within three months of employment date.
Preferred
Experience in Excel analysis and interaction with physicians.
