You will be working directly with our Chief Creative Officer to translate the creative vision of Catbird into an elevated, elegant, vibrant visual direction. This role includes focusing on the details, maintaining the creative vision and evolving the expression of the brand, and managing our graphic designers and photography teams.This person functions not only as a very hands-on player supporting in graphic design but also manages our in-house art department by overseeing timelines and deliverables, works collaboratively with cross-functional teams (retail, marketing, e-commerce, merchandising and product design), and is an essential part of our creative output.About CatbirdIn over 21 years in business, Catbird has become an icon, the ultimate destination for gifts and jewelry. Manage our in-house art department team, sources and manage freelancers and contractors where necessaryCollaborate with marketing on digital assets, advertising, mailersConcepting campaigns for holidays, special projects, new releases, collaborations, in-store displays etcPlanning and designing shoots and seasonal advertising campaigns (digital, OOH)Maintains and evolves branding, photography (with in-house photographer) and collateral materials to stay relevant and resonate with the target audience Develop and nurtures photography and video language through the brand lens that perform across multiple platformsOversee projects include packaging, print and environmental design alongside our graphic designersCollaborates with e-com team to translate brand vision to our websiteMaintains timelines, budgets and resources to ensure the successful execution of creative projects. Our Ideal Candidate5 years of experience (luxury, jewelry, or fashion preferred)Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a team.
