Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a keen understanding of food safety and fine dining standards. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests receive prompt, friendly service while maintaining the highest quality of food and beverage presentation.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed.
- Take accurate food and drink orders while providing recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring all orders are correct and presented beautifully.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Adhere to all food safety and handling guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Assist in food preparation as needed during peak hours or special events.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
- Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently serve multiple tables at once.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
