Job Description

CHIVALRY is a premier multi-purpose venue operator, boasting some of the most culturally significant, independently owned and operated venues in Southern California. Offering an eclectic array of events right in the heart of Los Angeles, CHIVALRY operates and preserves three storied venues, including : Catch One, El Cid, & Don Quixote.

Each of the three venues are deeply rooted in the history of Los Angeles and the various cultures that make it one of the most vibrant music and arts cities in the world. Under the leadership of owner Mitch Edelson the legacies of these iconic spaces continue to grow while catering to a broad cross section of artists, genres and cultures.

CHIVALRY is currently looking for experienced Security Guards

Responsibilities

Maintaining a safe and secure environment by enforcing policies and procedures of Chivalry- Catch One, El Cid, and Don Quixote.

Maintain a level of professionalism to ensure all whom attend have a fun but safe time.

Preventing incidents from occurring by following operational policies.

Diffusing conflicts and de-escalating situations that may occur.

Responding quickly and effectively to Calls for Service, assistance calls, and emergency incidents.

Monitoring the premises for potential security risks.

Reporting incidents to Leadership or Security Manager.

Qualifications

One (1) or more years of Security Experience or related Hospitality experience.

Proprietary Private Security Officer or Guard Card License. (Recommended)

Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and effectively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Good judgement and decision making.

Available shifts and compensation : Available shifts on Sundays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Compensation is $18.00 - $21.00 / hour.
