The Data Engineering Manager is primarily responsible for leading the data engineering team. You Will :
Build and optimize data pipelines, logic, and storage systems with the latest coding practices and industry standards.Develop high-quality, well-documented, and efficient code adhering to all applicable standards.Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and architects to enhance data acquisition, transformation, and organization processes.Write unit, integration tests, and functional automation; develop solutions to address problems discovered by quality assurance.Research emerging data technology applications and integration frameworks to continuously improve the data engineering practices.Oversee and manage a team of data engineers, ensuring effective collaboration and productivity. Provide leadership support for engineers, including mentoring, team building, and coaching.Manage project timelines, scope, estimate, and schedule project work. Coordinate between departments to ensure successful project delivery.Design and architect scalable, secure, and efficient data solutions. Guide the technical direction of the team, ensuring adherence to best practices.Build and maintain enterprise data products including data ingestion, storage, organization, and cloud data products. Implement and maintain ETL processes to ensure accurate and timely data flow.Automate and manage infrastructure and deployments to ensure reliability and scalability through DevOps practices.Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with relevant regulations through effective data governance practices. Build governance framework for cloud data storage and usage for enterprise data warehouse.Collaborate on cross-functional agile teams that include Software Engineers, Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Data Analysts, DevOps Engineers, and Product Owners to implement the next generation of enterprise applications.Provide technology leadership to development teams and other leaders. Participate in architectural discussions, iteration planning, and feature sizing meetings. Stay abreast of Analytics technology trends and industry best practices.You Have :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to lead and manage a team of data engineers.
