- Must be knowledgeable in equipment Lock-Out/Tag-Out requirements
Duties and Responsibilities
- Locate breakdowns and carry out necessary repairs
- Perform mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic checks on equipment
- Install, align, dismantle, and move fixed industrial machinery or mechanical equipment (pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, etc.)
- Participate in the development of a preventive maintenance program for equipment
- Read plans, diagrams, and schematics to determine the method of proceeding
- Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures, good manufacturing practices, and HACCP/SQF programs
Working Environment
- Able to work in a fast-paced, refrigerated environment
- Able to function in a team environment through communication and cooperation
