What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Specialist position at Catena Solutions?
Location: Northbrook, IL
Hybrid 3/2
Full -cycle AP processing
Serve as the liaison between several departments giving all groups support when needed
- Full cycle AP processing
- Perform 3-way match for payment of Purchase Order invoices and process payment requests for non-Purchase Order expense invoices in an automated, high-volume, workflow system
- Prepare analysis of accounts and statements, reconcile payments, and ensure payments are up to date
- Respond to vendor inquiries
- Research invoice discrepancies and correspond directly with vendors to request necessary documentation
- Complete steps to request new or modify existing Vendor Address Book records
- Assist with sorting and distribution of daily incoming vendor invoices and mail
- Participate in strategic projects and initiatives along with team meetings, activities, etc.
- Identify process improvements to the payables process
- Other projects or duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with ERP systems
- Intermediate Excel
- 3 years of full cycle AP processing
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
